fished the carp specimen pool peg 6 for 48hrs, lost a good one 1st night but landed a 19lb 4oz common. very good fighting fish and owners very helpfull. |

just done 24 hrs on specimen pool caught me 4 fish a 16lb 8oz 17lb8oz 19lb and a new pb of 27lb 4oz so i cant recommend the place highly enough will be back on soon |

done a days session yesterday 11 aug although i never caught any there was signs of big carp all around the pool especially under the lillypads big fish were jumping all day i shall be returning the weekend to bag a couple of them preferably the 31lb thats been out recently lol owners are nice and helpfull and a pleasure to talk to i higly recomend this fishery |

i done a day session with my bro first time fishing the pool had a 31lb mirror big old lump of fish a pristine example also lost 3 fish on that same day cant complain after catchin that lovely pool great fish would recomend it to anyone whos in to carp fishing |

Done a day session with the lads. i had a few knocks. and my mate had a 27lb common. Some advice keep an eye on your rod setup. as all of is 3 rods and rod pod went fying in. good pool with alot of big fish. I will be back for a 30 |

had a look the other day. but your not allowed on the bank unless they say. i must say the specimen pool is one of the best pools i have ever seen, laods to fish to, and the carp are perfect. this pool has been well looked after. and i really cant wait to start getting some of them carp on the bank. i would give this pool 10/10 |

Had 20 hours on the specimen carp lake earlier this week. Landed 5 carp, 16, 18.2, 19.8, 19.12 and 20.1. All from the open water fishing the boilie approach with sticks.(helicopter style to cope with the chod) Lost 4 through hook pulls. This water will test your skills as theres a lot to deal with. Sit on the rods if you plan to fish any of the snaggy features or you will find trouble, not good for your sanity or the fish. Even fishing the open water is a challenge as the pads come into play during the fight.(peg6). Keep there head up or its game over!(hence the hook pulls). Goin back next week to land the ones that got away! Btw, the fish are stunning. Photos up soon. |

Just done a 24hr session on peg 3 on the speciman pool. I didnt catch anything but the lads that was there did and the only reason i never is because i was only ready for my normal lake so this was a last resort and i will be going back ready. Nice place glad i went. |

just done 12 hour 7 till 7 on leighton pool with my mate john i had a 20lb 4oz mirror and lost one ,he had 25lb 6oz and 13lb 2oz common and he lost two as well thanks to clive for the tips where to fish will be back very soon ,had a great day many thanks |
